Detailed Information

Harvest Hill is an experiential agricultural park located in the hilly area of southern Sakai City, Osaka Prefecture, where visitors can enjoy nature and various hands-on activities. The theme is "a village overflowing with fresh, safe, and delicious agricultural products," making it a beloved spot for a wide range of generations to enjoy flowers, animals, gourmet food, and play all day long.

The park is divided into a "town area" and a "village area." The town area features a variety of attractions, including a carousel, go-karts, a Ferris wheel, and archery. The go-kart track offers a long course of 850 meters where visitors can zip along, while the aerial athletic activities challenge participants to heights of up to 8 meters, with three courses to choose from according to age and skill level, making it a hit with adults as well. From the colorful Ferris wheel, you can enjoy a panoramic view of Sakai's cityscape, and it is especially recommended as a date spot during sunset.

In the village area, there is a vast flower field that blooms with seasonal flowers and a petting area where visitors can interact with capybaras, sheep, horses, and more. In spring, you can see tulips; in summer, sunflowers; and in autumn, cosmos, making it an excellent photogenic spot where you can enjoy different views each time you visit. The only permanent "Sylvanian Park" in the Kansai region is also in this area, allowing you to experience the world of Sylvanian Families in real size.

The animal interaction experience is also rich, offering chances to connect with capybaras, sheep, goats, horses, rabbits, and more, as well as the fun of feeding them. The park is equipped with indoor facilities such as the "Sheep House," "Cat House," and "Dog Interaction Pavilion," ensuring a safe environment even on rainy days. Encountering unique animals like "Kuppa-kun," a red-footed tortoise, "Gomame-kun," a lamb born in 2025, and the three Indian peafowl brothers "Pepe, Ron, and Chino" is also a topic of conversation.

During the summer, a water play area called "Jabu Jabu Hiroba," spanning about 1,800 square meters, is introduced. This play space is divided into five zones featuring a windmill, a flowing stream, and mushrooms, where small children can have a blast with fountains and play equipment. It is a popular spot known for its large scale even within the Kansai region.

The park offers a variety of hands-on workshops, allowing visitors to experience making bread, sausages, butter, ice cream, and clay figures. Craft and pottery experiences are also available, catering to both adults and children alike with engaging activities.

Gourmet options are abundant as well. At the "Barbecue Restaurant," you can enjoy an all-you-can-eat grilled meat buffet for 90 minutes, while the "Food Hall Minori no Oka Buffet" features fresh vegetables from Sakai, homemade sausages, and pudding. Additionally, craft beers, dairy products, and bread made in the park are popular as souvenirs and are sold at the "Handmade Pavilion" near the entrance, where no admission fee is required.

Adjacent to the park, there is a direct sales store for agricultural products that carries seasonal vegetables and fruits produced in Sakai City, offering fresh and safe ingredients. This is one of the highlights that reflects the park's close ties to the community.

Transportation between the town and village areas is convenient with the tourist trains "Minori-go" and "Yamabiko-go." Visitors can relax and take in the seasonal scenery while listening to guided audio as they explore the park.

In addition, there are many fun activities suitable for both children and adults, such as gem mining, interesting bicycles, a boating pond, mini Shinkansen, mini golf, and trampolines. Seasonal events are also held, including strawberry picking, harvest experiences, and animal interaction events, providing new enjoyment and discoveries with every visit.

Harvest Hill is a place of healing and discovery where nature, play, experience, and gourmet food come together, making it an excellent recommendation for families, couples, and friends alike.
