カップヌードルミュージアム 大阪池田

Cup Noodles Museum Osaka Ikeda

The Cup Noodles Museum Osaka Ikeda is a unique facility where you can experience the history and culture of instant ramen, the birthplace of this iconic food. In 1958, Momofuku Ando invented "Chicken Ramen" in Ikeda City. This invention later led to the establishment of Nissin Foods, which introduced instant ramen to the world as a global food phenomenon.

Inside the museum, popular attractions include the "Chicken Ramen Factory," where you can experience the manufacturing process of Chicken Ramen, and the "My Cup Noodles Factory," where you can create your own custom cup noodles with over 5,460 possible combinations.

The museum also provides detailed information about Momofuku Ando’s contributions and the history of instant ramen's worldwide expansion. The "Instant Ramen Tunnel," which showcases approximately 800 types of packaging, is truly impressive. A recreated research shed from 1958 conveys the message that "invention is possible with ideas, even without special facilities."

With plenty of entertainment options, the museum offers large-scale videos and quizzes that deepen your understanding of instant ramen. This museum conveys the importance of invention and discovery, allowing visitors of all ages to experience the evolution of food culture. It’s a fun spot for everyone, young and old alike.
