Ooboke Kiyotaki Line
The Oboke Gorge sightseeing cruise offers a scenic tour through the deep valleys and strange rock formations of the Yoshino River. During the approximately 30-minute cruise, you can closely observe schist that resembles marble sculptures and enjoy beautiful seasonal landscapes. In summer, you can experience lush greenery; in autumn, the vibrant fall colors; and in winter, the enchanting snowy scenery. While gazing up at the steep cliffs of the V-shaped valley and the stunning rocks, you can enjoy an exhilarating boat ride. Oboke Gorge, a designated national natural monument formed by the rapids of the Yoshino River, one of Japan's three major wild rivers, is a spot where you can fully appreciate the wonders of nature.
