Washuzan Observation Deck

Washu Mountain Observatory is located near the summit of Washu Mountain within Setonaikai National Park and has been designated as a national scenic spot. There are two observatories set up near the "Washu Mountain Rest House" and "Washu Mountain Visitor Center," from which visitors can enjoy breathtaking views of the islands of the Seto Inland Sea, the magnificent Seto Ohashi Bridge, and even Shikoku across the water. The beautiful panoramic view of the blue sea and bridge is especially captivating during sunset and has been selected as one of the "Top 100 Sunsets in Japan." The area around the observatory features well-maintained walking paths, allowing visitors to enjoy the stunning scenery while strolling. With a shop and open spaces available, it is a popular viewpoint where visitors can relax and spend leisurely time.
