Uminonakamichi Seaside Park
Located in the Higashi Ward of Fukuoka City, the Uminonakamichi Seaside Park is a vast national park covering approximately 350 hectares, where visitors can enjoy seasonal flowers and interact with a variety of animals. In spring, the park hosts the "Uminonakamichi Flower Picnic," and in summer, it features the "Sunshine Pool," one of the largest in western Japan, providing enjoyment through various events throughout the year. In the "Animal Forest," guests can interact with capybaras and squirrel monkeys. Additionally, "Wonder World" offers giant trampolines and roller slides, making it popular among families. The park also includes day camping areas for enjoying barbecues. Within the grounds, there are updated facilities like the "Marine World" aquarium, as well as "The Luigans," a resort hotel with ocean views, making it an ideal spot for those seeking tourism or relaxation. The existence of Uminonakamichi Seaside Park is one of the reasons why Fukuoka is considered a comfortable city to live in.
