The Oirase Stream is a two-star tourist attraction in the Michelin Green Guide, featuring a breathtaking 14 km stretch of stream. Everywhere you walk, you are captivated by the beauty of nature, especially during the best seasons from mid-May to mid-June and from mid-October to late October. The enchanting scenery, combining morning mist and dappled sunlight, fascinates visitors. The Oirase River, flowing from Lake Towada, forms numerous waterfalls and clear streams that are protected as special scenic spots and natural monuments. The walking paths along the stream allow you to enjoy the beauty of the changing seasons while enjoying waterfalls, clear streams, and rocks, with a trekking experience of about four and a half hours. Diverse natural landscapes, including deep forests, cliffs, and green tunnels, welcome visitors at any time. When visiting Lake Towada, Oirase Stream is a must-see spot.
