Amanoyasukawara
Tenshankawara is a mystical power spot located in Takachiho, Miyazaki Prefecture. It is a large cave that unfolds about a 10-minute walk along the Iwadogawa River from the Nishihonmiya of the Amano Iwato Shrine, and it was a stage for Japanese mythology. Legend has it that when the sun goddess Amaterasu hid in the rock cave, the myriad gods gathered to discuss how to bring back the light. Inside the cave, countless stones piled with prayers create a mysterious sight that captivates visitors.
