Hyugamisaki Umagase
Hyuga Cape and Umagasaki is a scenic spot located within the Nichinan Coast Quasi-National Park in Miyazaki Prefecture, characterized by its ria coastline and columnar jointing. Named "Umagasaki" because the entire cape resembles the back of a horse, it can be viewed from the sea. From the observation deck at the tip of the cape, visitors can enjoy an unobstructed panoramic view of the vast Pacific Ocean and feel the grandeur of nature's power. Additionally, the observation space "Skeluchia!", which was renovated with glass in 2022, allows visitors to experience the thrilling cliffs.
