Kokono'e "Yume" Ootsurihashi
The Kuju "Dream" Suspension Bridge, located in Kuju Town, Oita Prefecture, boasts the highest walkway-only suspension bridge in Japan. With an elevation of 777 meters, a total length of 390 meters, and a height of 173 meters, it offers breathtaking views of the "Shindo Falls," which is selected as one of Japan's top one hundred waterfalls, and the beautiful "Kusuyakei" with its fresh green and autumn foliage. Especially in autumn, it becomes a famous spot for fall colors, attracting many tourists when the leaves reach their peak in early November. Additionally, near the suspension bridge, there is an area that includes "Tenku-kan," where visitors can enjoy dining and shopping, enhancing the overall sightseeing experience.

- From Bungo Nakamura Station on the JR Kyūdai Line, take the Kuju Town community bus bound for Kuju trailhead for 25 minutes, and get off at Nakakura Bridge, then walk for 3 minutes.
From "Kuju IC," it takes about 25 minutes via Prefectural Road 40.
From "Yufuin IC," it takes about 40 minutes via Prefectural Road 11 (Yamanami Highway). - Parking
