Detailed Information
Shima Spain Village is a multi-faceted resort facility that recreates the streets of Spain, the land of passion, and is full of exotic charm. The resort is mainly made up of three areas: the theme park “Parque España,” the resort hotel “Hotel Shima Spain Village,” and the natural hot spring “Ise-Shima Onsen Himawari no Yu,” allowing visitors to enjoy entertainment, dining, lodging, and relaxation all in one place.
At the center of the resort, the theme park “Parque España” offers a wide variety of attractions, restaurants, parades, shops, and more, making it enjoyable for people of all ages, from children to adults. The park features a diverse lineup of attractions, ranging from thrilling rides for adrenaline seekers to gentle rides that even small children can enjoy safely.
Four representative attractions include the following:
First, “Inverted Coaster Pyrenees” is a suspended roller coaster with a top speed of 100 km/h and a total length of 1,234 m. Its sense of openness, with your feet hanging in the air, combined with its speed, creates the thrilling sensation of being thrown into the sky.
“Kiddie Monecer” is a kids’ coaster themed around the artistic world of Barcelona and Montserrat Mountain, and can be enjoyed by the whole family, from children 90 cm tall and up to adults.
“Feliz Cruise” is a boat attraction that leisurely travels through the park’s canals, where you can relax while enjoying fountains, beautiful streetscapes, and flowers in every season.
“Steam Coaster Iron Bull” is an indoor coaster that delivers an exhilarating ride with plenty of speed, making it appealing because you can enjoy the thrill regardless of the weather.
Shima Spain Village also offers abundant entertainment. Highlights include passionate flamenco shows performed by authentic Spanish dancers, musicals featuring unique and colorful characters, and spectacular parades.
When it comes to dining, visitors can enjoy authentic Spanish cuisine made with fresh ingredients from the Ise-Shima area, as well as local regional dishes. In addition, there is a wide selection of souvenirs, including Spanish tableware, sweets, and character goods available only here.
The park is designed to faithfully recreate the streets of Spain in remarkable detail, and photo-worthy spots can be found throughout. As you stroll through the park and take photos, you’ll feel as if you are traveling abroad.
After a full day of fun, you can relax both body and mind at “Ise-Shima Onsen Himawari no Yu.” Its open-air bath with a view of the sea, Matori Bay, is especially popular and offers a truly extraordinary experience of relaxation. If you stay at the adjacent “Hotel Shima Spain Village,” you can fully enjoy the resort atmosphere.
In this way, Shima Spain Village is an attractive multi-faceted resort facility that offers attractions, entertainment, gourmet dining, hot springs, and lodging all in one, making it a place that visitors from small children to adults can enjoy all day long.
