Marinepia Nihonkai is one of the largest aquariums on the Sea of Japan coast, where you can encounter approximately 500 species and 20,000 aquatic organisms. Notably, the marine tunnel that runs beneath the giant tank offers an exhilarating view that makes you feel like you are walking underwater. The daily dolphin shows are a highlight, featuring easy-to-understand commentary. In addition, you can enjoy exhibitions of adorable penguins, seals, and beautiful fish, providing a heartwarming experience for both adults and children. From JR Niigata Station, take the Niigata Kotsu bus bound for Niigata Aquarium. It takes 20 minutes, and get off at the final stop.
