Iowa World Kagosima Aquarium
Iow World Kagoshima Aquarium is located in a prime location with a spectacular view of Kagoshima's symbol, Sakurajima. It is one of the largest aquariums in Kyushu, showcasing approximately 800 species and 10,000 individual marine creatures. The massive Kuroshio Tank, where whale sharks, skipjacks, and tunas swim together, is particularly impressive. In addition, there are many fascinating exhibits, such as the "Sea of the Nansei Islands," featuring colorful tropical fish and corals, and "Kagoshima's Deep Sea," where visitors can experience the wonders of the deep sea. The aquarium also offers a variety of exciting events, including dolphin performances and informative feeding sessions with whale sharks.
