By bus: Take the local bus from JR Aso Station (8.5 round trips per day) for about 30 minutes and get off at "Kusasenri Aso Volcano Museum" stop, which is right in front.
By car: Approximately 80 minutes from Kumamoto City, about 50 minutes from Kumamoto Airport, and around 30 minutes from Minami Aso Village (Michi no Eki Aso No Sato Kugino).
