Ashizuri Misaki

Cape Ashizuri is located at the southernmost tip of Shikoku, offering a panoramic view of over 270 degrees from its observation deck. Situated at the tip of the Ashizuri Peninsula, it is a spectacular spot where you can truly feel the curvature of the Earth. The white Ashizuri Lighthouse stands on the cliff of the cape, watching over ships in the distance with a luminosity of 2 million candelas. The cape is also known as "Camellia Cape," and every February, approximately 60,000 camellias bloom, reaching their peak season. It is renowned as a sunrise spot, drawing many visitors who come to witness the first sunrise of the year on New Year's Day.

Access
Take the Kochi Southwest Transportation bus to "Ashizuri Misaki" from Tosa Kuroshio Railway Nakamura Station. It takes about 105 minutes from Shimantocho Chuo IC.
Parking
At Cape Ashizuri, there are 20 spaces at the tip, 115 spaces in the first parking lot, and 50 spaces in the east parking lot.
