Hakuto Shrine

Shirataki Shrine is dedicated to the "White Rabbit of Inaba," which connects the great deity Okuninushi no Mikoto of Izumo and the princess Yagami of Inaba. It is known as the birthplace of a love story based on Japanese mythology. In 2010, it was designated as a "Sacred Place for Lovers," and its popularity as a matchmaking spot has been rapidly increasing. The shrine grounds feature stone statues of the white rabbit, and items like the "Kizuna Stone" and amulets are popular among visitors. The surrounding area boasts beautiful landscapes such as "Shiratori Coast" and "Shiratori Hill," making it a recommended place to deepen the bonds with your loved ones.
