水木しげるロード

Mizuki Shigeru Road

Mizuki Shigeru Road is a street that stretches approximately 800 meters from Sakai Minato Station to the Mizuki Shigeru Memorial Museum, established in 1993. In 2018, it was renovated to improve accessibility and widen the sidewalks, with 177 bronze statues of yokai being rearranged. During the day, the Kitaro family sculptures greet visitors, and at night, the yokai are illuminated, creating a magical atmosphere. This unique sightseeing spot allows you to experience the worldview of Shigeru Mizuki, and there are plenty of yokai-themed gourmet treats and merchandise available.
