Kamogawa Sea World

Kamogawa Sea World is an aquarium themed "Encounter with the World of the Sea," located on the Boso Peninsula. Inside the facility, 11,000 specimens of 800 species of river and sea creatures are displayed, recreating environments like the seas and rivers of Boso and tropical coral reefs. Popular attractions include jellyfish exhibits that utilize digital technology, as well as performances by dolphins, sea lions, belugas, and orcas. The dynamic jumps of the orca are particularly breathtaking and captivate many spectators. The beautiful jumps of the bottlenose and striped dolphins, the echolocation of the beluga, and the comedic short skits by the sea lions are also highlights. In the souvenir shop, orca plush toys are a popular item, and the adjacent official hotel offers ocean-view rooms, allowing guests to enjoy the world of the sea throughout their stay.
