Yonaha Maehama Beach

Yonaha Maehama Beach, located on the eastern side of Miyako Island, features a stunning 7 km stretch of pure white sand and the emerald green waters known as "Miyako Blue." Its beauty is often regarded as the "best in the East" and it is also recognized as the starting point for the Miyako Island Triathlon. The contrast between the white sand and the clear sea is breathtaking, making it a fantastic spot for swimming, jet skiing, banana boat rides, and other marine sports. The sunsets are beautiful, offering picturesque views of the nearby Kurima Island. It is a popular destination where you can enjoy the ocean all day long.
