Access

From the entrance of Miyanoura Port, take the bus to Yakusugi Nature Museum operated by Tanegashima and Yakushima, which takes 43 minutes. At the last stop, transfer to the Arakawa Mountaineering Bus (not operating in winter) for 35 minutes. Get off at the last stop and walk for 5 hours.
