Kokuei Hitachi Seaside Park is a national park established by the government in Hitachinaka City, Ibaraki Prefecture, to meet the increasing and diversifying recreational demands in the Greater Tokyo Area, covering a total area of 350 hectares. Currently, approximately 61 percent, or 215.2 hectares, is open to the public. The park is designed with the theme "The Sea, Sky, and Green are Friends: A Refreshing Healthy Experience," utilizing its distinctive natural conditions, including forests, grasslands, sand dunes, beaches, and springs. It is expected to become one of the most prominent parks internationally, given its scale and features.
